Pinhole leaks

I stored my pool for the winter last year and have just got it out and filled up about halfway (3,000 of 6,000 gallons).

I have found 3 pinhole leaks as I have been walking around the pool every few hours as the water level increases.
I have since patched these and the water has stopped.

Let's just say I hadn't discovered this as its so slow to escape.
Can something like this just tear if people are in the pool playing or am I over thinking this based on the size of it?

I am probably going to retire the pool after this season but so far, this appears to be the only noticeable issues.

Just not sure what 6,000 gallons of water can do on a hole like this.
Patches seem to be a common thing so I assume they are meant to help solve problems like this.

Just looking for some reassurance I suppose.

Those are very well reinforced with a lot of mesh layered in there. It would have to have some serious pressure against such a tiny pinhole to just blow out the whole side. Now if it was a cut and some of the fibers in there were compromised then it may be more apt to tear out more.

A good patch kit should fix those little pinholes up good as new.

I had the same type of leak 2 years ago. Picture look similar? ;) I used this and have not had an issue since, no need to drain, apply it underwater.

Pretty awesome actually. For whatever reason we didn't cut the patch down, so there is now a 6 inch patch for a tiny hole and the end is flapping since I didn't glue that part down. Make sure you cut it down, and get the glue on the edges of the patch too so dirt etc can't settle in.

I just noticed that you said you already patched them, so disregard my advice ;), but at any rate the patches seem to hold up for years.

Awesome, thanks! I got some vinyl adhesive glue and used the extra vinyl material they provide to patch it.
I ended up cutting them into a circle so that there was no edges to lift.

I think this will be the last season anyway with this pool but wanted to check in on it :)

Thanks!
