Hello, I have a 13.5k gallon above ground pool and I cant get the PH to stay above 7.4. I can raise it fairly quickly to 7.6-7.8 using aeration but it drops back to 7.4 after a day or so. My TA is 90 and the plan was to lower using MA but dont want to risk not being able to raise the PH back up. Any suggestions? Below are my test results using a Taylor k-2006c and they've stayed pretty consistent since opening a few weeks ago.
FC 5
PH 7.4
TA 90
CYA 45
CH 230

Good, typically what you described is what someone using tablets would experience. Somewhat odd behavior for a liquid chlorine pool, but that's why my rule is that the best TA is the one your pH is stable at.

If your water wants to hold the pH in the 7's with a TA of 90 then you're good to go. Just monitor things and adjust the pH if and when it is necessary to. :goodjob:

Sounds good. I stopped buying the tablets and everything else after finding this site a year ago👍Thanks!
