I've had little issue balancing pool over last season. pH, TA, all values seemed settled. Last couple weeks noticing that pH is rising fast. Any ideas why that can be?
Have lots if construction around my house this spring, builders doing framing and yard grading. Could all the dust be reason?

What is your TA at right now?

Austin has had above-average rainfall in May so far. Have you had lots of heavy rain where you live? One good heavy rain sends my pH up by 0.4 sometimes simply due to aeration. Just a thought. I’m not sure if dust would have that drastic of an impact on your pH or not. I suppose it depends on the source.

My TA now is at 75 fluctuating to 100.
I keep it under 100, my target us around 75, manipulating this with other readings to the csi closer to zero.
I just noticed that after the winter, and previous season where ta stayed very constant near 75, I am having to adjust all the time, and don't know what the reason is.

My parameters in the spring tend to fluctuate in the spring. Once it’s under control late May, early June, it tends to be stable with slow rise in pH and slow decrease in TA as CO2 blows off. Then I add MA to lower pH.
