pH keeps climbing.

Moved from here.. No matter what I do the pH keeps climbing.

I hope you don't mind me piggybacking off this post, but I have a question reagrding this topic. I have had the same chronic pH issue with new plaster pool. I do have a few water features and a spa spillover. But in my fourth season it seems to be more steady in the 7.6-7.8 range, with a TA in 70's. However, I did have a recent O-Ring issue with my pump. Fixed now, but could not find the correct O-Ring. Was sucking air really bad and I can hear air in my lines for a few weeks. Noticed my pH really rising during this time. Just curious, would air in your lines also raise your pH with all that water agitation?

From the post just above yours, looks like absolutely yes!
