Moved from here.. No matter what I do the pH keeps climbing.
I hope you don't mind me piggybacking off this post, but I have a question reagrding this topic. I have had the same chronic pH issue with new plaster pool. I do have a few water features and a spa spillover. But in my fourth season it seems to be more steady in the 7.6-7.8 range, with a TA in 70's. However, I did have a recent O-Ring issue with my pump. Fixed now, but could not find the correct O-Ring. Was sucking air really bad and I can hear air in my lines for a few weeks. Noticed my pH really rising during this time. Just curious, would air in your lines also raise your pH with all that water agitation?
