OmniPL and heat/cool pump

We got the Omni PL running and controlling everything on our new pool but the heater/chiller. I have the chiller relay on LV2 and the heater relay on LV1 and the chiller in auto bypass mode. I checked that if I jumper the pins together it works fine. I also verified that the relays were not closing, and they are not. It stays in chiller ready mode as far as I can tell and does not activate the LV relays. Is there something else that the pool is looking for to trigger it? Maybe it will only cycle after X minutes or something and I haven't waited long enough?

Update: If we set the OPL to just control a chiller on LV2 then it works fine. But not if its a heatpump/chiller.

Sounds like you’ve proven that the heat and cool functions work if you manually close the relays. Are you on firmware 4.4.x, latest release? Heat/cool was added in 4.3:

What is the water temp vs set point, and what is the temperature differential setting? There is a deadband that the water temp has to cross before the OPL will trigger the relays to call for heating or cooling:

“Once the water temperature is brought to be equal to the set point, nothing will run until the water temperature reaches (set point minus the configured temperature differential) or (set point plus the configured temperature differential).”
