Omnilogic and Heater Question

I have an Omnilogic to control my pool equipment. One thing I haven't figured out and I'm sure it's an easy fix, is every time I use the heater for either my pool or spa and the water reaches the desired temp, the Omnilogic always defaults to the LOW speed setting for my pump. I have a Salt cell and the flow sensor triggers an alarm of NO FLOW which then shuts the pump off after a few minutes.

I already have a custom schedule for my pump so that the speed keeps enough flow to not trigger the NO FLOW alarm but when using the heater, it never defaults back to the custom schedule.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Thanks,

Bill

There is a setting in the configuration menu that you can enable/disable that will shut the pump off if you get a no flow warning. However, you should not be getting a no flow warning on low speed of the pump. Do you always get a no flow warning on low speed? What make/model pump do you have?

If you have a VS pump, you may just need to increase the lowest RPM setting a little.

But in general, the controller should resume the original schedule when everything is set the same as in the original schedule. So if during the time period you have the pump on high speed, the same speed must be set to resume the schedule. The pool mode (pool/spa/spillover) must also be set the same as the schedule.

If you use Themes to run the spa, you can then end the theme and the controller should revert back to the schedule.
