I automated my liquid chlorine delivery to my pool with a Stenner peristalic pump. I power it with a current sensing switch so that it only runs when the pool pump is running. When the Stenner is adjusted to anything under constant flow it makes a very audible clicking noise. Setting the Stenner on constant flow is not an option as that would over chlorinate my pool. I am looking for a power activated timer that would be run in line with my current sensing switch to power the Stenner for a set amount of time (say 30min) and then cut off. This way I could run the Stenner at 100% (eliminating the clicking noise) and adjust the chlorine dosage by adjusting the timer. The timer would reset to the desired run time (30min) every time the power comes on. Does anyone know of such a timer?

SWGs are quiet as a mouse, and have a near infinite combo of settings when combined with pump runtime.

Poolstored above had an awesome setup that worked great for him. It took him a whole day to be sold after switching to a SWG and on day 3, he more or less told me I'd need to pry it out of his cold dead hands.

Your existing setup is no doubt cheaper to continue in the short term, but as someone irked by a little clicking, I sense that you would *really* appreciate the intangibles of the SWG. Nobody fully realizes the peace of mind until they switch. Then they kick themselves for not doing it sooner. Hard. And often. :ROFLMAO:

Mine produces about 1000 jugs worth of FC over its lifespan. Can you imagine *not* lugging 1000 jugs ? If i bought them at Walmart, they'd cost $6160 out the door. It doesn't even matter what the pro's rate for install is, the 1st one ROI's twice, with zero lugging effort. Replacement cells return 3X to 4X with a reusable controller and a 5 min plug and play swap without needing a pro. If you're handy enough to tackle the install, you'd be saving spades from the start.

But the magic is the intangibles.
