Hello everyone,

I have recently decided to take care of my own pool after I got tired of my pool guy skipping weeks and whenever he chooses to come he's here for maybe 5-10 minutes..

So for chemicals, I read the wiki and will be getting a TF Pro Kit. Currently, my pool guy utilizes chlorine tablets and puts them in two separate floaters

Now my question is for vacuuming/scrubbing the walls.

From what I gathered, I will need a telescopic pole, a skimmer net, a brush for the walls, and a vacuum for the floor (don't want to invest in a robot pool vacuum yet)

Can I get some recommendations for those items (or if there is anything else you recommend?)
I seen a few things about vacuum cleaners and it seems like the head attaches to the pole , I put it in the skimmer, and then utilize the pool pump to actually to clean the floor. I also found things like "pool blaster" cordless vacuums?
Just not sure what would be best to use here. any input is appreciated!

Yes, that's the old school traditional way to vacuum the pool and how I still do it. You can get a pole, vacuum head attachment, and hose at your local pool store or online like on Amazon. Probably cheaper online.
