So, I am the only one in my family with a pool, so I offered it up for a New Years Day Polar Plunge
. So far eight family and friends have taken us up on it and we are taking the dip at noon. I tested chemistry this morning and was happy to see my CL is 19ppm (made to slam level earlier ). I vacuumed out what little dirt and worms there were and got it looking pristine for what I hope will become a yearly tradition. Water is currently 39dg with air temps at 30dg. Indiana had a warm spell this past week, but the bottom falls out today and from here on out I suspect pool will be frozen.
Question, after our dip I may put in some more chlorine and mix it in with the dolphin to get me through the remainder or winter. Would you do this to be safe or am I good the way it is? I have left over LC.
Anyone else taking a polar plunge?
