New Pump Variance

Hello- my Hayward VSP bit the bullet (got 7 years out of it) and my question is the new pump I’m looking at (TriStar) has a 0.04” difference on the outlet (top) would that cause any issues as far as leaking I figured I could use an O ring just in case

maybe??? it all depends on the tolerance from your old install to the new install. you may have to completely redo the pipe if it is not the same.. If you can find a pump right now....
