Pool installed end of last year and opened this week. Already tired of trips to the pad so I decided to put a timer on. I have a 1HP Jandy pump and a Jandy SWG. They are currently hard wired on the same 240V circuit. My question is can I run them both as one load on a 40 Amp 120-277V timer or should I separate the loads? It seems I'm way under the max amps and don't trust any safety devices that may be in the SWG to not run while the pump isn't on.
