Hi everyone,
I'm a long time reader, first time poster. I currently help manage the Ace Hardware in Ocean Springs, MS. I've also maintained pools for a few real estate companies and apartment complexes. I started off with the same newbie attitude that "all you gotta do is keep adding chlorine". Now I feel so knowledgeable compared to those days, and I realize you can never stop learning about pool maintenance.
I've been reading all the guides, chemistry information, etc. for years, but I'm now interested in asking questions that aren't yet answered so plainly so that I can learn more deeply about the relationships of all the chemicals.
I often have people from the medical field tell me this is like blood chemistry, very complex. I am here to learn everything I can so that I can help my customers maintain their pool without having to spend hundreds of dollars every couple weeks because they don't understand pool chemistry and the pool companies don't either.
James
