Hi everyone,

I am not a new pool owner per say but a owner of a new intex 12 x 24. Our previous pools were 15ft rounds and never had a problem with leveling.

I paid a guy with a bob cat to come level my land. We then proceeded to put the 18 supports into the ground using a rotary laser level. The 2x8x15 boards are all level to each other.

Now here is where I need help. From one short side to the other it seems to be off level by 2-3 inches at the ground contact level. The supports are level but the bottom where the pool liner contacts the ground is not.

Do I need to redo everything and get the floor level to the blocks for support? Obv this is a lot of work and paying someone to do it is just not in the cards for me. Will I be fine considering the supports are perfectly level?

Attached is a photo showing a side of the pool. Sincerely any help or recommendations are welcomed! Thanks

A potential problem could be that if the middle is too deep compared to the supports, it could pull inward on the liner as it tried to stretch the vinyl to make-up for the depth causing a bit of strain or perhaps pulling the support posts inward into the pool. Make sense? If it's just a few spots with minor differences, probably not a big deal, but try to avoid large differences between the paver height and the inside of the pool if you can help it. I would think you could tell once you have the supports up and the liner stretched out before adding water. If the liner doesn't want to settle to the ground nicely because it's being pulled to taught you'll know.

Thanks for the response! I guess I couldn’t tell when it was empty. It’s new to me so not sure what exactly to look for. The challenge I have is one end of pool liner surface is below the supports while the other is above.

The challenge is the bend in the long side, while they look even I just don’t know what will happen when it fills up past half way and if by then the supports will settle and present different potential issues.

I had the same pool on a concrete slab that was pitched 1/4" foot. I didn't have a problem with it. Those long pipes on the sides will straighten up when the water level comes up. With mine the water was about 2" closer to the top on the one side.
