Hello! We were first time pool owners at our old house and a friend got me hooked on TFP (I am a dedicated TF-100 test kit owner, and I printed and laminted pages from Pool School 
). Now we are in the begining phases of building a pool at our new house in Indiana. What do you think of the equipment I've researched? Did I get the sizes right?
Thursday Pools, fiberglass, Aspen model
16' x 35' rectangle
10,140 gallons
depth range from 1' to 5'6" (square foot 560)
Automatic pool cover & a black aluminum fence (safety first!)
Hayward Crown Jets (for the kids, and to help aerate as needed)
2 ColorLogic LED Lights
AquaRite 900 Salt Water System
Hayward Tristar VS 900 Omni pump (I wanted the MaxFlo VS 500, but I think the crown jets require more HP)
Hayward SwimClear C4030 Cartridge filter (Flow rate is 150 GPM, and VS 900 pump curve shoes 130 GPM)
Hayward H200 natural gas heater (this will run 2-3 months a season due to weather and a shady yard)
Hayward OmniLogic automation system (but NOT the auto-chemistry option)
I am stuck on the pool deck material. Our goals are low maintenance and non-slip for little kids. Even though brushed concrete meets those goals, plus easy on the budget, I don't like the look/style of it on a brand new pool.
