I just opened my replacement chemicals box for the TF-100 kit. I seem to be missing the R-7065 bottle. Is it OK to use the R-7065 that I have left over from the last kit (purchased in 2016)? It's obviously a fairly important part of the testing process (I've just re-opened my pool). Can I get a bottle of the R-7065 sent separately?

just looked at their website and didnt see a R-7065, sure thats the correct number. doesnt show that number in the full kit either
The R-7065 is a Cyanuric Acid Standard 50 ppm Solution. It is not part of the typical replacement chem kit. The reagent for the CYA test is R-0013.
R-7065 is the CYA standard solution, for you to practice with so you know what 50 ppm CYA looks like. It helps you find the right lighting and distance and so on to perfect your technique so that when you do test your pool's CYA, you'll get it right.

OK - thanks, now I get it! I was just lining up the bottles & noticing it was not included. Having not done any pool testing since last September, it didn't register what exactly the R-7065 is!
BTW: What to do with the "stale chemicals" - can they just be poured down the sink?
