Liner install issue

Just had a very old liner in the pool replaced last week.

Overall, things look good, BUT...when I turned on the lights I noticed maybe a dozen small creases, predominantly in the shallow end (I've attached a couple of pictures).

Am I right that the liner should be pretty much completely smooth when installed initially?

Would the installer be able to even fix this and how would he do it?

It's getting pretty cold here in upstate New York and I'm feeling pressure to close the pool very soon. Is this something that would have to wait for the spring?

You will likely not be able to remove them without draining the pool and starting over. Should be a lot more doable in the Spring but will have to be drained regardless.

Off the subject, but you imply your pool has a deep end. If so, your total gallons or perhaps the size is incorrect. A 24x40 deep end pool should have somewhere around 35k+ gallons.
