LaMotte vs. Lovibond reagents

Here in Italy the sun has come out and the cover is coming off, yipee. I use a LaMotte color Q for testing, yes, I know, all you Taylor guys please don't kill me... Anyway the reason for using the color q is that it, and it's reagents are/were easily available here in Europe. Now I am having trouble sourcing lamotte reagent tabs at a reasonable price (smug satisfaction and smirking from you Taylor guys...) .
So, finally a question : Are Lovibond reagent tablets , DPD1,DPD3, CYA (easy to get, cheap) similiar to LaMotte and will they give consistent results? I know it is unlikely but they are both for colorimeters, same weight etc.
Thanks,
Zed

Wow, this is way out of my wheelhouse but lets check with our chemistry expert @JoyfulNoise . Careful though he's a little well... should I say different!

The underlying chemistry is the same but how their colorimeters are tailored to their reagents is a complete unknown. Obviously they want you buying their own products so I doubt they’ll tell you if they are compatible or not. You could do a side by side test to see if the results are different. Then go from there.

Thanks for responding, it is a bit of an obscure question. I would have done a side to side test if I hadn't run out of the original LaMotte tabs last year and forgotten to re-order, duh! I will now attempt to order some LaMotte tabs, the u.k. supplier has now raised the price to stratospheric levels with the addition of massive carriage charges and nonsense paperwork related to Brexit, an act of self harm on a par with your civil war...
The good news is that the pool is open, water is clear, tastes and smells good and whilst it is a brisk 19 degrees C., eminently swimmable, yipee!
