Hey guys, never had a pool before but here i am helping my girlfriend care for her 17 year old pool w pebble tech ! All Pentair equipment working well! No problem installing 4 new filter cartriges today but ive now got fiber glass in my arms! I will be refinishing that raspy dang shell but may i ask; why dont people install lightweight removable covers over exposed pool equipment?? I will be designing one and installing. There are a few companies that prebuild from metal enclosures that clip together in phoenix! I am in The central valley calif so cant use them!

Next time, wear the blue nitrile gloves you have left over from the pandemic. They will protect your hands from the fiberglass and also keep them clean when you lube the o-rings.
