JACCUZZI JET (s) HEIGHT

In the process of an inground 7 x 7 Jacuzzi being built.

Would like the seat depth at 21 inches (below water level).

How close (to the water level) can I have a jet placed (and not have problems)? i.e. What is the minimum depth of a jet for a Jacuzzi jet?

This is a great question, most pool builders or i should say plumbers just put them in without any consideration of placement. If you are sitting in a chair upright you could measure the distance from your seat to the different locations you would like for the jet to hit. You also don't want to be sitting in the spa with the water level above your chest. So it would be important on how deep the benchseat is. One other tip you could have the builder angle the seat back a little for comfort. If you have seen the portable spa's jet location's you would see some jets just inches under the water
