Hey everyone! So the pools been up a few weeks. Water is very clear but I'm having either some iron sediment or maybe algae setting on bottom in some spots. I am on well water. Filter is brownish orange when I clean it. I got a simple vacuum today that worked well. I got everything off the bottom. Not sure exactly on pH so I attached a pic. Looks a lil high

Anything going on in my tests below?

FC 10.5
CC 0.5
TC 11
CYA 55
CA 150
TA 130

thanks for all the help!

Hi Gussie
The ph test will read high whenever your FC is over 10
Retest next time your FC is under 10

It also sounds like you need to do a OCLT to rule out organics
A brownish orange filter does sound like iron, but afaik this normally appears as stains, not sediment
Test your FC after dark and write down the number. Then do the FC and CC test before sunrise. If you lose less than 1FC and have less 0.5CC you have no algae/organics

Let us know how your tests went so we can help you from there

I am brushing and vacuuming every day. Changing filter every other day. Pump running 24/7.

I'm really considering a regular pump and filter instead of one that came with the pool.

First pool and following TFP method since start, just thought it would get easier

I will post OCLT test in the morning again
