Hello I've owned my pool since 2013 when I bought the house but I'm only now just starting to learn about it. For some reason the first 7 or so years it was very easy to maintain. All I had to do was fill the chlorinator, vacuum, add occasional shock, clear the skimmer basket and I was totally fine the pool was always sparkling clean. Now due to all of the rain the pool has gotten out of balance and turned completely green and I'm having to learn all the chemistry and timings. In concept I understand a lot of the things but I find the pool math calculator very confusing and the weights and volumes is just throwing me for a loop so sort of trying to use as much of the website instruction as possible and some is just guesswork and I'm hoping for the best. I'm a single female trying to maintain not only the pool but the entire household and so I'm spending half my life on Google trying to learn how to repair and/or maintain things, so much work. Appreciate this site though!
