Install New Liner in Fall or Spring?

Our inground pool is due for a replacement liner - The current liner is 11 years old and we have had a few small holes/tears and leaks this season. We were originally going to wait until Spring 2025 to replace the liner, but our pool company has availability in September too. Would replacing it this year be better or should we wait until spring?

We are located in South Central PA.

Generally, with a competent installer, it doesn't matter if it is spring or fall. Ideally, you would want a warm day to ease installation, but they did mine in October, cool day (50s) and it was fine.

If you've had holes/tears, might be best to do it this fall so you don't have more holes and tears that would cause more issues over the winter/spring.

I'd get it done this year.
