So I recently completed my plumbing for my pool and installed the flow switch and cell in-line for a RJ30 SWG. Should I wait until spring to install/connect the controller??
I’m in south Louisiana and it doesn’t get real cold but we are entering our coldest part of winter. I am adding liq CL2 at the moment. Should I continue and install when temps warm?
You can install it now and just not turn it on. No sense in waiting if there is a bit of nice weather to do some work outside.
Also, your plumbing is not finished - you need to paint all that exposed PVC pipe. You can buy a can or two of khaki tan spray paint (Krylon or similar) to match the filter color. Painting PVC protects it from sun scorching and UV embrittlement.
thank you for quick reply! Good point on just installing and not running. I plan on spray painting as well. I was waiting a bit for the dirt to pack down good, clean pvc and spray. I’m only hesitant to due to having to clean paint of pvc if I have to do a pvc repair etc
