Hey all, looking to get my pool in a good maintainable state for my two girls (5, 2) to swim. North NJ, so I'm going to get myself a solar cover. Opened the pool and got rid of all the algae, but I checked the pH levels after being away for a week+ and it was below 6.4 (strips for now, getting a kit). Plaster is starting to chip everywhere, which could be a combo of low pH or just being very old. Used Borax earlier and will recheck levels this evening. Looking forward to learning on these forums!
