Hi.so I purchase this house 2 years ago it has a In ground pool 30,000 gallon last summer when we closed it down we replaced the sand, motor and impellers. I thought everything was good on it we opened it did the chemicals and then notice a crack at the top of the dome on the sand filter so I replaced and replaced the multiport valve cause the other one was old and didn’t have the information on it anymore on which was to turn it. But it didn’t come with a gage. So I purchase a gage we put it on and it wasn’t giving any pressure and it seem it had cracked the valve a little so we fixed the crack. Took the gage off. And then it worked on circulating. But not on back wash. As if something could be clogged. I really don’t know it’s been one thing after another

Welcome to TFP! Help us to understand a couple things please:
1 - Where exactly is the crack? On the MPV (multiport valve)? Not the filter correct?
2 - How did you fix the valve when it cracked? Is it leaking anymore?
3 - Can you post another pic or two from a little bit further back so we can see the plumbing lines as they go up to the MPV? Also try to show us any 3-way valves on the pad.
