Hi Everyone,

Hoping someone can assist me. I did search the forums before posting this but it didn't appear (or at least I couldn't see) that the issues I am having have been addressed and I am not technically savvy I am ashamed to say. I have called Flurida 3 times a day for the past 4 days and each time the message says to call back on the next business day due to high call volume. (frustrating)

In any event, I purchased the Polaris 965IQ about 10 days ago from Amazon. I followed the instructions provided on the process for linking it to the app/wifi. Each time, I get a message on the app saying it can't find my wifi. I don't know if this matters but I can see the wifi signal "Robotic cleaner" in the list of wifi signals but it also says "No internet" below it. Then when I click on connect on the app it searches and finally says it can't find my wifi.

Why I am confused is that my wifi signal is great where the cleaner is. In fact, I am using my tablet or phone to set up the app while on my wifi. I have even taken the cleaner in the house and sat it next to my router and same result.

I have seen that there is a Iaqualink antenna, is this something I need?

Is it a Wifi issue (I.e - I need to be calling my internet provider?) or a Iaqualink issue?

Anyway, I appreicate any help or tips as I am not sure what to do next. It's my own fault for purchasing the cleaner on Amazon as I can't even contact the seller to try and get some help.

Thank you very much!

It is your wifi. I am pretty sure that robot does not like newer ciphers. You could try creating and connecting to a guest network with lighter security protocols.

On the other side is connecting via the Aqualink app isn't really needed. It is a nice to have but doesn't get you much. The only thing I use the app for is to add "30 minutes" if I want to increase the run time and sometimes to steer the robot closer to the pickup point.

Thank you for replying! I hear you about not needing the app to run the vacuum. However, I purchased it as I like the idea of using the remote control. I have some areas in my pool that using the remote control to target specific areas would be helpful.

Looks like I should call my internet provider.

Thanks again! Cheers!

You need to ensure that you have an available 2.4 GHz network (802.11 b/g/n). Jandy uses garbage wifi chipsets that I'm sure they're paying pennies for, and they do not support 5 GHz networks. By default, a lot of new consumer wifi hardware default to 5 GHz only.
