Hi!!!

I have a CYA question that I cannot seem to find answers to. After you measure your CYA and get a number, do you always round up??? I’ve read that the correlation is not linear. So does that mean any number >1 rounds the CYA to the next 10 e.g. 41–>50 for treating FC???

Yes, when you test your cya it's best to just pour to each 10 and glance in to see the dot, this always rounds the number and also gkanceing is a better way to have a consistent test.

Remember to pour back In the mixing bottle and do again for free till your happy

This is the way I do it. In my opinion, its quicker and more repeateable and the lighting is not as critical, just don't do it in direct sunlight. I would even go as far as suggesting that TFP used this method as their recommeded testing process.
