Hoses for sand filter

I need to get hoses for my new sand filter, 1.5" ones. Which of the myriad choices should I get? What's a good, reliable brand that won't crack and split after a year or two?

Go to a box store, farm store, or similar and look for pool hose or suction hose. Not cheap, but really good
