New Construction happening now - Dig day happened last Friday, April 10th!! We are excited about our new addition and can't wait to enjoy it during the Texas Summers. We are building 18x38 inground freeform Pool with an attached 10ft round Spa. Pool depth is 3.5 - 8 feet with a small tanning ledge and bench. The Spa will have a rolled tiled neck and a tiered flagstone spillway into the pool. We decided on Crystal Stone Mini Stone Plaster in Turquoise Pearl to give a tropical feel to the water. We picked up some fun Glow in the Dark FireGlass tile to use as markers for the steps and bench....they are pretty awesome! For pool equipment, we are using a Pentair System, an easy touch computer system controlled by phone or computer access.
Dig happened Friday, Stable Soil was injected Monday, today (Tuesday) Plumbing and Steel were completed and next week Gunite!
Along with the pool/spa combo, we are adding some extra fun to the backyard.... Small Pool Shed with bathroom, changing stalls, lockers, fridge & outdoor shower. Large fire-pit with swings, Inground Trampoline, Sand Volleyball court, and a Gaga Pit. We want to make it a place the teens/kids and their friends don't want to leave!!
Learning about everything as we go bc we are "first-timers" in the pool department. There were so many decisions that are really hard to make based on internet images or 2" pictures from a catalog. Getting to this stage has taken some time...Wish I had come across this site months ago.
