Can anyone tell me what these creatures are? My chem is fine but no matter what I do they keep coming back. Today I brushed three times and skilled every three hours. Any idea what it is? Only on the corners of saltwater inground pool. Afraid to go in. Yuck. How do I get rid of them?

Springtails possibly.

Yep...sure looks like it. Look them up at domyown.com for background and how to locate and eliminate nests.
I had dealt with them for years, but they came back annually. This year, I used a mixture of Talstar P and Acephate 97. They have not returned. Check out the link below for more info.

yep, probably springtails. Bifen and Acephate at the label rates for turfgrass. Spray any grass or mulch area around the pool.

I should mention that springtails do not fly. They crawl. They have to be getting into your pool somehow. When it warms up a bit, look very closely on the deck and you should see where they are coming from. You might have to be on your hands and knees, they are very small.
I think it’s from the grass. No deck. Have just concrete around the pool. They are just on or near all the corners of the pool. It’s really strange all in clumps. I really don’t want to swim in the pool when we see them in there

Yep, those are springtails, hence the name. They do jump. You need to spray the grass area where they are coming from and the deck area where they are crossing. The larger the area to spray the better.
Bifen and Acephate at the turf label rate. You should be able to spray once and be done.
