HELP - Opinions Needed on this stone work; new pool AZ

Hi Everyone! I've been reading up on this site for the past week while we slog towards the home stretch with our new build in Phoenix, AZ. The masons are finishing up their work, and I'm not sure I'm happy with some of it. I realize the work isn't finished yet, and maybe with the grout in it might change things, but right now I feel the stone work looks pretty sloppy. Also, it looks like there was some measurement errors and they decided to fix with a couple odd 'bump outs' at the top to help support the coping along the spa (right and left top corners). That wasn't in the design, but I'm not sure they'll be able to take them out. I'm feeling disappointed. What do y'all think?

That looks like a mistake... I had some issues with travertine work around my pool as well. I wonder if you are using the same contractor that I used. PM me with the name of your sub if you don't mind.

The stacked stone should wrap around that corner, not the brick there. And the brick coping cuts are sloppy with various different brick widths. I would have a frank conversation with your PB and the owner of the mason company and let them know it's unacceptable.

Thanks for the support, everyone. I talked to the PB today, and the mason, and they said they'll get it resolved. I'm a little worried since this first run was so off the mark. I'll keep you posted!
