Help in Overhauling Load Center / Automation - Mostly Pentair

Hi TFP Community,

Had my 16x32 inground pool renovated last year with all new plumbing, liner, coping and patio and even extended shallow end by filling in deep end to raise it to only ~6' making it now about a 19k gal pool. No spa, no water features, and only 1 light.

I'm adding pool heater and SWG now and with it need to make some electrical upgrades / clean up but can't splurge and also don't need sophisticated automation. Any recommendations for 'semi-automation'? Since the pump already has a built in timer but want to control when the SWG is on, what options do I have or how would you build this out? The only convenience other than making sure the pump and the SWG and heat come on and off when they should, I may want to turn on the heater while not home to give a chance to heat up for when we get home.

I likely need a load center / subpanel which I don't have now for the Heater + Pump + SWG. I was looking at the InteliConnect for ~$500 but still need to add the load center, I can find the Pentair 522353 EasyTouch PL4 Control System w/ Screenlogic for ~($1200 on ebay), or can try to do something with the Load center and wireless timer below for the SWG?

Any other recommendations welcomed!

Here's the equipment I have:
  • Pentair IntelliFlo 3HP VSP Model 011018 (overkill, but I got it cheap years ago)
  • Pentair Mastertemp 400HD 460805
    • Will install manual bypass with check valve
  • Hayward Goldline AquaRite power center + 40k W3T-Cell-T15
  • Pentair diverter valves
  • (1) Pool Light
Future:
  • May have landscaping lighting that would tie back to same load center
