Hello, my wife and I just had our Leisure Ultimate 30, it's a 15x30 with spa spill over, installed last week. We are first time pool owners and I want to be able to maintain it myself. Under some guidance from a friend I've purchased a Taylor K2006 test kit. But I have a lot to learn. the pool gets the first month of treatment for free and I'd like to treat it there after.

First off you need a test kit. We recommend two on the market-
TF-100 available at www.tftestkits.net or the K-2006C. available on Amazon. My preference is for the TF-100 as it is a better buy.

Start reading a few Pool School articles- Pool Care Basics - Trouble Free Pool

The best advice I can give you is to STAY OUTTA THE POOL STORE!! They will mess you up. And make you pay for it. Ugh.

Look around, read the forums and ask questions in one of the appropriate forums.
