Hello, first and foremost thank you to all who contribute to Trouble Free Pool! It really makes me believe I might be able to do this. My wife and I purchased a home, and the pool in the backyard is well, let’s say unique. The previous homeowner installed and sold parts for koi ponds. So he built a “pool” with what he knew. Dug a hole, put a pond liner in, poured the floor(concrete), and used stacked stone for the walls. I’m told it’s 5000 gallons, but seems a little less than that. The filter, pump, and SWG are in our basement for some reason about 80ft away from the pool. The heater is next to the house. Only return to the pool is the waterfall. It has a floor drain, and a pond skimmer. I’m currently filling it, kinda excited to see how I do keeping the chemistry balance!
