Hey all! My chlorinator O ring has a slow leak that is currently fixed. However, it's days are numbered. I'm good for now but next time I open the chlorinator I may not be so lucky. Current O ring is almost a year old, gunky, and showing signs of normal wear. It's getting harder and harder to seal and the O ring is becoming less pliable so it's definitely time for a new one. So here's the question. I reached out to my local pool store and they have an O ring for $9. However, Amazon has packs of them for just a dollar or 2 more. Would these be of the same quality or should I go with the more expensive pool store O ring? Also with the new O ring...Should I be using any kind of lube as preventative maintenance? Any help is greatly appreciated!
