I'm getting the light that flashes 6 times in the motherboard of the antenna. When trying to pair with the panel, it doesn't seem to pair. The support person said i should buy the screen logic system. Either way if i buy a motherboard of screenlogic, its looking like 600-700 bucks. Is there any cheaper alternatives?

yeah the card is dead... from what I've discovered, the 6-flash means it can't read the config from the radio module's eeprom - so it's junk.

but you have a couple of options...

1. if you want to keep the wireless you can replace the "antenna" card (aka transceiver). they are expensive new, but you can often find them used or even new for 125-250 on the auction site (I will pm you if I've got any). what is the version on the back of yours? something like 2030 or 2040

2. if you don't care about the wireless you can buy a used indoor control panel, mount it to an interior wall and wire it to the outdoor panel

3. I see used screenlogic protocol adapters (PA) for 2-300 on the auction site - a used wireless link is another 150 or so, but there is also a workaround using a cheap wireless adapter (requires the PA and wireless adapter be out in the box with the outdoor board)
