We were having a problem with the robot not going forward and noticed the gears to the wheels were no longer engaging, so I replaced the wheels and tracks of the robot.
Now after powering on, the robot goes through its testing phase (moving backward for about 10 seconds, then forward, followed by the impeller spinning with water visibly moving). However, after this, it continues moving backward for 10 seconds, then forward for 10 seconds, repeating this for a few minutes before stopping completely.
I’ve fully disassembled the robot to check for any obstructions in the tracks, drive motor, impeller, wheel tube, and brush assembly, but everything seems clear.
I was wondering if anyone has had this issue, and hoping its a fix that isn't replacing the motor.
Thanks
