Diving board anchors - one is shorter

Our diving board was installed yesterday and when I stood on it realized it was wobbly. Being a weekend I went ahead and took it apart to see one of the anchor bolts way too short to fully engage the nut.

Is this going to be a fix that requires tear apart and redo the decking around the board to reset the anchors?? I sure hope not but don’t feel too optimistic of the correct fix. We have nice new travertine for a pool deck.

Thanks for any insight so I can make sure it’s fixed properly!

Go find whoever charged you good money to leave it like that. I'd beat them with the diving board but talking it out might work also. You do you.

What’s the quality/strength comparison of an epoxy vs concrete anchor? I’m 225 so this will get worked😬
Don't have an answer for you, but it's approved procedure by SR Smith from their website and product information. Knowing corporate lawyers and liability law, I'm sure they have tested this and found it more than enough to cover their rears!
