Sadly, I have a feeling we will be seeing more of these stories as more people are buying these pools to keep themselves busy this summer staying home.

That's not exactly a kiddie pool. That thing was pretty big and pretty sure it states in setup instructions, looks like an intex, to not put it on a deck.

Utter stupidity very sad that some people do not realize how much a pool like that weighs.

If a 12' x 24' x 52", thing weighed just a bit north of 5 tons. I know of no household deck that is designed to support that kind of weight.
