I've decided it's well worth buying OEM filter grids (or whole assembly) than buying the "cheap" $150 knock offs! My Pentair grids lasted 8-9 years before one developed a hole, so I decided why not but a new set. Think I paid $125 at Amazon 4 years ago. Look just the same, but one developed a hole within 2 years. Replaced with one of the old Pentair ones, another hole this year. Decided to splurge and buy the Pentair OEM assembly at $350 on Amazon. Well worth the money (especially if they last 9 years)!

Side note, noticed rim on tank rusting. It's that a big deal? I scotch-brighted and reassembled.

Thanks for feedback.
The rust marks are from the ring as it is not fully stainless to resist corrosion and the weld area is also the cause.
I rub off some of it with brushing when I clean the filter.
