Dark Mode contrast

I use Dark Mode in iOS and appreciate you supporting it on your site. However, I have trouble reading forum posts on your site. The bright white text on solid black background causes a residual effect for me that lasts minutes. When I look up after reading a post, continue to see the bright lines in my vision. I don't have this problem with other dark mode sites that use very dark (charcoal) backgrounds with very light (light smoke) text. I believe TFP is using 100% contrast white on black. Consider softening the dark mode contrast a little for people like me?

Thanks. Definitely not urgent. As a brand new pool owner, I've been on TFP so much recently that I just switched my iPhone back to light mode

For what it’s worth, if you click on the little menu in the upper left, then scroll all the way down and click on settings, you can change the style to light instead of autodetect. That way you can keep your phone in dark mode, but the website will still be in light mode.
