I have in-wall jets and one the eyeballs kept falling out. So I was looking to unscrew the thing the eyeball sits in however I damage the threads that I need to re seat a new jet back into the wall. I have maybe 1 or 2 turns before I hit the bad spot and then past it the threads are good again. Not sure how to repair this or tips on how best to make this work - thanks !

Hot glue? You could first try coating the end of the fitting thread when dry, and then quickly screw it in. It should hold for a while but not be permanent.
