CYA zeroed out on me?

Hello all,

I am having an interesting problem. I've had high CYA since I opened my pool. 70 was the average. I test chlorine every day, and do a full test bank every Friday evening except CYA as that doesn't change much. Last week I noticed my chlorine dropped to zero after being within range of the 70 cya chart. That is a huge 24 hr drop. So i raised my chlorine to 10 and went about my day. Test again the following evening and again my chlorine is at 0. Now i'm freaking out and can't figure out what is going on. So I run a full bank of tests including CYA and everything else is spot on except CYA. It's at ZERO!!! How is that possible?

I've dosaged the appropriate levels of dry CYA in a mesh shock in the return flow path to reach a CYA of 40. But its been 2 weeks now and I cannot get it to register on the CYA test. I've now started to use my old chlorinator and 3'' pucks to boost CYA and add chlorine as I am burning through my supply of liquid chlorine.

Theory: I use a solar cover for 5-6 days a week and somehow the chlorine dropped enough for something to start to consume the CYA, in combo from a low oxygen environment.

What else can I test for to help solve this low CYA problem. I've been drastically over shock level for nearly 2 weeks. with a CYA level at 0 Water looks amazing, clear.

I'm about to try leaving the cover off during the day to help oxygenate the pool. I mainly use the solar cover for heat retention during the night and water evaporation.

Any other ideas?

EDIT: TEST RESULTS:
FC: 4.0
CC: 0.5
pH: 7.2
TA: 175
CH: 225
CYA: 0 (my test kit registers lowest level of 20 fyi)
Water temp: 86
CSI: -0.11
