When doing the CYA test with R-0013, it requires 7 ml of sample water and reagent, each, for a total volume of 14 ml. The tube with the black dot seems to have a capacity of just over 10 ml.
Does it make a difference if instead of preparing 14 ml for the test one would prepare 10 ml instead, maintaining the proportions (1:1) specified above (5 ml sample and 5 ml reagent)? Specially if you expect the CYA to be ~ 50 or higher (halfway up the tube).
Thanks in advance! I also want to say that I have enjoyed learning from the posts and the articles in Pool School. I have solved a few issues being a new pool owner.
