CYA test help

Folks I am new to this testing stuff..this is my 3rd CYA test...I'm probably splitting hairs but...I've done the extended test due to high CYA level...when the dot disappears..if I wait 5-8 secs..it barely comes back into view...so do I take initial value..or wait the few seconds and add more until it goes for good...

basically is difference between 140 and 160...but...is a 1000 gallon difference on my drain!

That is basically within the precision of the test, especially after the diluted test.

It might be hard to even discern the amount you drain with a 1000 gallons.
