Hi,

I had a RO service done 6 days ago. My CYA tests since then have shown zero. I have the TF100 kit and I fill to the top of the cylinder (above 20) and can still see the dot at the bottom. A bit cloudy, but can still see it.

I went to buy some liquid conditioner today and brought my water in to be tested. They show 20 ppm CYA.

My question is am I doing something wrong? Is their test wrong? Can I have some faulty R0013?

TIA, Kurt.

running out of chlorine in the pool for extended periods also eats up your CYA, as bacteria feeds on it. I also realize I'm going through so much chlorine because I have high phosphates (bougenvillias!), so I'm going to use an additive to control that and add some CYA back too.
