Even when all other readings are in their acceptable range, every week or two my PH is out of whack and I have to add a cup or two of muratic acid. I have been told that is a common occurrence with SWG pools. Gunite/pepple tec finish. Is this true?

SWCG has no appreciable impact of pH. pH rise is typical. pH rise is highest when pH is low and TA is high.
