Searched the forum and found a 7 year old thread on this. I'm wondering if anyone has recent experience with these. I've been fighting a Jandy Aquapure 1400 for years, and I called a pool tech today asking for options on a change. He threw out the idea of the Chlorine Genie. Googling, it looks like it just won a product of the year award. The principles sound okay, but looking at it the design seems a little rough. It has a built in timer, I'd prefer to put it on a relay and have it programmable with the rest of my system. Anyone actually have a recent model of one of these with some runtime on it? Anything to report, good or bad?

So it’s basically a water softener & swg combination? With an acid & base doser?
I see no specs stating actual chlorine output, replacement cell info, warranty or cell life info.
I wonder what they cost new?
I found one on the ebay with some pics
Looks like it takes up a bit of space.

The worst device I've tested it used it , and it doesn't work at all it's a great concept if they can spend some proper money and time with quality parts and dial it in properly its a fluke generate any Chlorine and I've had 2 system go back in 3 months back to bad all parts are junk and made cheap that I was testing in one of my customer pools
