Can I place my new Intex pool liner and frame over the previous exact same Intex 16x 32 x 52 pool liner after I remove the old hardware?

I’ve had an Intex pool for years. I never covered and the liner has gotten rough on the frame from sun damage.
What’s easiest way to take old frame out? And can I leave the old pool vinyl and use it as an additional ground cover? Thought this will keep my sand that’s already there from shifting . The old pool was there for 10 years. We have drained the pool 2 weeks ago.

I don't see why not. You're going to remove everything about the old pool except for the liner and perhaps any pavers in the ground correct? So if that's the case, I suspect the ground is very stable and should receive the new pool well.
