Hi Guys! Good morning! I'm new to the game.
Bought a house with a pool. Pool has not been updated. Pool has not been bonded as well which needs to be up to code by an electrician. I am planning to have my pool renovated and have 2 options in my mind regarding renovation.

Option 1
Hire a pool company that will do everything from liner, electric, fence and pool deck (pavers)

Option 2
Hire different contractors for each.
Liner - pool company
Electric - electrician
Pool deck (pavers) -masonry company
Fence - fence company

Pool is a 20x40 rectangle pool 40,000 gallons in Northeast.
What option would be better? What are the Pros and Cons of each?

Thank you!

Contracting yourself will be the cheaper option. That's all your pool builder is going to do. But easy to get quotes from all trades and decide from there.

When we did our reno, I had reno company do everything because I just didn't want to deal with it lol it worked out for me & I got what I mostly wanted. I think it is a personal choice & your own time and sanity 😂😂
